Why Become ASP Member

IRACS ensures that rope access technicians are qualified and trained to work safely. Each technician is required to re-certify every three years in order to demonstrate that he or she maintains the necessary skills at the worksite. Technicians may also progress through three levels as time, experience, and training allow; each demanding greater knowledge of rope access skills necessary at construction site.

IRACS qualifications are based on the IRACS Certification Scheme (ICS). The levels are set and maintained by IRACS, and technicians must meet both technical skills, theoretical knowledge and workplace experience requirements to achieve them.

IRACS-certifications are considered the benchmark for rope access skills.
